Description
An autistic man who cannot speak has been given the chance to be heard – and his “beautiful” singing voice is touching hearts everywhere.
Martin Finn, 32, is non-verbal but discovered a remarkable gift for music during his school days in Wigan. What began with a karaoke machine soon grew into a lifelong passion, leading him to perform songs by his favourite artists and, more recently, to join Irish music legends Foster & Allen on their album for a stunning version of Flying Without Wings. Tony Allen described Martin’s performance as “note for note perfect” – one of the greatest moments of his career.
Over the years, Martin has appeared on BBC’s Autistic Superstars, RTÉ’s Late Late Show, and performed at Autism’s Got Talent in London, as well as countless charity events, weddings and Irish music clubs. His voice gives him a way to connect with the world, and every note carries his passion, his story, and his heart.
Now, Martin is proud to release his brand-new album One In A Million – a title that reflects not only his journey, but the joy and inspiration he brings to all who hear him sing. With heartfelt renditions of country favourites and songs close to his heart, this album is proof that music truly knows no barriers.
