Mike Denver released his new single I Asked Her For A Dance on Friday 13th March with Sharpe Music.
Having spent more than two decades on the road with his band, Mike Denver has seen first hand how the dance floors of Ireland bring people together.
“You see people meeting at the dances, maybe shy at first, someone asking someone for a waltz or a jive and a few years later you hear they’re married with a family. That’s the magic of the dancing scene over here.”
It’s a tradition that has endured for decades and continues to thrive, with thousands still travelling the length and breadth of Ireland to see Mike for a good night’s music and dancing.
